The Biological Sanctuary Bela Vista provides an amazing tour in Foz do Iguaçu for those who like family adventure programs. The sanctuary has a biological tour, which became an example of environmental conservation developed by Itaipu. You can see up close several species of wild animals in captivity that are produced using alternative sources of energy throughout the structure. Tourists are taken on a tour through the forest trails, where they will be dazzled by birds, capybaras, capuchin monkeys, skunks, snakes and especially the jaguar, considered the star of the site. The environment houses 133 animals of 44 species. Tourists have the option to walk along four different trails provided with the service of expert tour guides. The objective is to teach about environmental education.
